Wild Africa is a partner company with the Kitesurf Centre. With over 20 years of kitesurfing experience, we have designed our courses to teach you in the fastest and safest way. On completion of the course, you will be registered on the IKO system, this will allow you to rent equipment anywhere around the world.
DAY 1 COURSE
This course will cover all the essentials you will need. This includes safety, site assessments, interpreting the wind, setting up an inflatable kite, safely launching and landing, kite control, and body dragging.
One instructor, two students – $110 USD per person.
DAY 2 COURSE
This course is also aimed at beginners but with more time in the water to hone your new skills. Second day will refresh on body dragging and teach new skills; how to drag upwind and board starts.
One instructor, two students – $200 USD per person.
DAY 3 COURSE
Understanding and practical skill set to be able to kitesurf. Progressing to the third day in the water where you will master board starts and learn control of speed by edging the board.
One instructor, two students – $290 USD per person.
PRIVATE COURSE
Private lessons are for any level, have an instructor to yourself and learn at your own pace for maximum progression in the minimum amount of time. You maybe a complete beginner or someone who wants to learn some new tricks, we cater to all levels.
One-on-one private lesson - $60 USD per hour (10% discount if you do 3 hours).
Rental
Full kitesurfing equipment (board, harness, kite) – USD$30 per hour or USD$100 per day
Stand-up paddle boards – USD$10 per hour
